Am I a good candidate?
Before booking your microblading or soft powder brow appointment, please make sure you check these requirements!
- I do not have previous microblading or PMU. *if you do, you must book in for a consult first. Contact the Studio for details.
-I am not pregnant or breastfeeding.
-I am not, have not been, nor will be on accutaine within the next/past 12-18 months.
- I currently do not have any skin conditions on my brow area such as psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, or dermatitis.
-I do not have any blood diseases or blood clotting disorders.
- I am not currently on the use of antibiotics or blood thinner medication.
- I am not currently receiving chemotherapy.
4 weeks before your appointment:
Do not undergo any chemical peel treatments, AHA peels, Botox and/or filler in the forehead, or strong exposure to sunlight. The skin cannot be in the process of healing or regeneration during the treatment process.
10 days before your appointment:
Do not suntan, spray tan, self tan or tint your eyebrows. Make sure you have thoroughly read through your pre-appointment email. You can also review the forms below. This is a good time to have your brows waxed/threaded if you decide to do so. But, is not required.
24 hours before your appointment:
Do not consume any alcohol, coffee, energy drinks or aspirin/blood thinner medication prior to your appointment. Make sure your appointment forms are signed, or arrive 10 minutes early to do so in Studio.
After your appointment:
No direct sunlight/tanning beds, or spray tans/self tanner on the brows for 2 weeks following your appointment.
No excessive water for 2 weeks after your appointment such as saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and swimming pools.
No excessive sweating for two weeks following your appointment. Movement/Workouts that do not cause you to sweat are ok during this time.
No facial treatments, or botox for 2 weeks after your appointment.
No makeup application on the brow area until they are fully healed.
